Ruh Khus Aligarh 2020 is an artisanally distilled Vetiver, prepared by hydro distilling the roots of North Indian Vetiver in copper vessels, resulting in a deep and earthy fragrance with a hint of mint & spices. The Wild & Best Vetiver comes from Aligarh(a city situated in the state of Uttar Pradesh in North India) .

This is the Crème de la Crème of Khus. Easily the most stunning profile I’ve come across after trying uncountable specimens, by the Grace of God الحمد لله
It’s a properly cleaned, artisanal distilled, well cured, wild, roots-only Khus. Not even the slightest of traces of earth have slipped through into the oil, making this Khus a glistening Emerald.
What makes this Khus stand apart is it’s tinge of sweetness (that develops naturally through proper curing & perfect kuppi-ageing). Combined with the natural mint, this sweetness turns into a sublime Menthol note that stays “throughout” the oil. A menthol almost Gulkand-like, peeking through a Paan (Betel Leaf). This is what truly makes this Khus pristine & extraordinary in my eyes.
